The Culebra Cut: Proof That No Job Is Too Small
Just went through the Culebra Cut section of the Panama Canal. Very cool to see, imagine what life was like here in the, and be amazed at how much the world is different because this was done. Wow!

PS 25,000+ died getting this done. 20,000 while the French gave it a shot. Another 5,000+ as the Americans got it done. The big difference was the discovery that mosquitoes were the carrier of Yellow Fever and Malaria. The near elimination of these bugs and constant vigilance allowed the canal to be done. Great example of “no job is too small”.
