I slept in this morning! Did not start to really stir until 5:30am. Ha! We did go to bed - as in turn off the lights - at 8:30pm. Clearly we needed the sleep. I was on the road by 6:05am.

My job today was bike to Williams, AZ. Jeri’s job was to pack up, unhook the van, and drive to Williams, AZ. We both made it to the RV park within 10 minutes of each other. Only two snags. I had a flat tire. Jeri forgot to empty the toilet bowl of water before she pulled the cassette to empty. While it was only water, she had to change her clothes. Ha!

As my mother-in-law would have said, the Grand Canyon was “Awesome”. We stayed on the rim, but both of us were overwhelmed as we looked across and down. Neither of us had any idea. Wow!

Unfortunately we did not make it back to town in time to visit the world famous Poozeum where they have the largest petrified piece of poop.
