No Break For 4th of July!
No break for 4th of July
Jeri and I will have 32 family members at our cottage for the weekend of the 4th. (5 bedrooms, 3 campers, 3 out buildings, and one pull out should give everyone a place to sleep.) So we took off late last week to get a jump on setting everything up.
Funny thing about cancer, however, it does not take time off for the 4th of July. Without treatment it just keeps growing and having a good old time. So this morning I abandoned Jeri to the humongous grocery list and drove back south for treatment.
Oh look! A Starbucks. It was only 10 minutes out of my way. Ha! But I had to take this picture with my new shirt. My Mom gave it to me for Father’s Day. (My Dad wrote the card.) I continue to build on my collection and this one is perfect.
Sometime after lunch I will head back north to continue our preparations. The potential cancer cells will be withering and dying. AND the grocery list will be filled!
SHINE!
