Back on Route 66 - October 28
Jeri and I headed to Las Vegas yesterday and picked up a test van. We made it all the way to the Oasis RV park (15 miles) for the night. It took us about 2 hours to get everything organized. As usual, I did not think it would all fit. But it did with room to spare. (We did pack much lighter.)
I did bring a bike, but I am not biking all day this trip. So it was Clown Bike #3. (I do NOT have two more at home. I sold the others. Ha!) It was nice to ride an out and back and do all the van stuff with Jeri.
Our only tourist stop today was Boulder City, NV. I had been to this coffee shop a couple of years ago with all my boys. (Cole invited me to his Bachelor weekend.) This shop is tied with one in Marquette, MI for the best Ice Latte with oat milk I have ever had. Tried it again and was not disappointed.
Tonight Jeri is making spaghetti and meatballs (Beyond Beef of course). Gotta try everything in this van over the next 7 days. It is only 4:30pm, but I’m thinking lights out by 8pm sounds pretty good. Ha!
