The Inner Circle

I did not even realize that we had a national archives. It makes sense now that it has been made abundantly clear. Of course there is a place that keeps track of all the old stuff.

It was fascinating to read how much stuff gets pulled from obscure places and filed once someone gets elected. Even elementary school grades and yearbooks. And this book was written before the internet was really up and running. Wow!

Oh yeah, and it was also a good novel. Meltzer is starting to tie the books together by pulling in old characters. I like this, but it means they should be read in order to get the full context.

This one can still be read as a stand alone, but why do it. Doesn’t everyone pick an author and read from the first published to the last? Ha!
