Iron Flame & Onyx Storm

The next two books in the Fourth Wing series were just as good as the first. I went through them way too fast. I have not plowed through this many books reading ONLY this fast in decades. Yarrow for sure had my attention.

Much less “growing up” of the characters as I progressed through the series and more working on the bigger picture. It was interesting to watch some characters get stuck in their own ambitions while others moved forward with helping others. Just like real life.

I was super disappointed to finish book #3 for 2 reasons: First, because I was done and had to go back to other books I had on my pile. Second, because book #4 is being pushed out. Yarrow wants to write one of her traditional books next. Very lame - another romance novel. Ha!

(Now I will need to read book #3 again to remember where the story line was sometime in 2027. Oh the suffering!)
