Route $66,000 - Arizona & New Mexico

Only one tourist stop today. The Cadillac Ranch just west of Amarillo, TX. Planted here in the 1970’s they are a little worse for ware. We took some pictures, left our mark, and kept driving west. Only 400 miles tomorrow. Yeah! I am getting tired of driving and riding in the van.

Starting to get a little nervous about biking. This country side is hot, dry, and hilly and heck. I was expecting the first two. I was not expecting this much climbing. I like climbing but I need to ratchet back my mileage goals. AND make sure all 3 water bottles are full whenever possible.

Van tomorrow. Bike on Sunday. Seems like we have been on an adventure and yet one is just about to start. Interesting.
