Day 1 of Route $66,000 - Arizona & New Mexico

The day went really well. Picked up our house for the next 18 days and made it to Springfield, IL. We were told the rule of thumb is to arrive at your camp site 2 hours before sun set. We made it.

Got the house all plugged in. (I think. We will know more tonight or tomorrow morning. Ha!) Then we in unloaded all our bags and found a home for everything. If the past represents the future, I will unload at least one part of the van a day and try to get a little better organized. Just because we are on vacation, it does not mean we cannot practice 2 Second Lean.
