Not My First Day of School… Just Another Infusion

Nope! This is not my first day of school. It is also not my first day of treatment. My sister-in-law gave me this shirt, and I thought this would be a fun picture. AND no one needs to see me with an IV in my arm any more. Ha!

This is how I usually leave the house. Work in one hand tucked into a back pack. Food in the other hand organized in a Sea Bag.

I’ll hit Starbucks on the way to treatment to load the last pocket. I will try not to spill it today. Two weeks ago I dumped the entire cup on the floor of my infusion room. It is amazing how far and wide 24oz of iced coffee can go when it hits the floor.

Obviously I am not in Michigan. I am so fortunate to have been able to connect with the Cleveland Clinic in Vero Beach, FL to do treatment this winter. Like everywhere I have gone for cancer related work, the people here are fantastic. I just hope they let me come back next winter despite my fumbled coffee.
