Lord Foul’s Bane

I was surprised this spring to pick up and get completely absorbed in The Forth Wing. I know it is cliché but I liked the cover AND had heard something about it in Morning Brew (a news letter I read every morning). I quickly read all three books and remembered that I used to like the fantasy genre many decades ago.

Needing another series (while I wait for book #4), I found one I read as a young adult. Someone on eBay was selling the entire series, so I bought them.

It took me a while to get into this first book because I kept remembering parts of future books and getting confused. When I hunkered down and focused on what I was reading it was fun. 95% I had forgotten, but there were pieces here and there that I remembered.

I recommend and am already well into the second book.
