The Exchange

This was a good book. Not the best or the worst Grisham I have read. This book would have been significantly better if it had NOT been connected to The Firm. I was expecting the quick thinking and fast pace of Mitch McDeere. This older McDeere did not even closely resemble the younger version. While this is likely true of us all in real life, I want more from my entertainment. Now if this book had been written with completely new characters, I probably would have liked it. The comparison killed it for me. If you are a Grisham reader, you have to read it. If you never read The Firm, this is a good book. If you read The Firm but no other Grisham books, I would skip this one.
