Scorched Earth

Not his normal “War” story.

Scorched Earth by David L. Robbins

This one was good, but a little slower than other David L. Robbins books I have read. The story takes place in the South and deals with interracial marriage and a town split between letting people live and protecting the “old ways”.  Several sub plots all come together, but were sometimes tough to follow. I recommend this book for those interested in educating themselves on this topic—there are deep roots and strong opinions.
